App Next Steps

This post may not mean much in the grand scheme of BlogX. However, I am committed to the process. Further, as a follow up to my kick-off yesterday I completed my business plan minutes ago.

This is key moving forward. I have been communicating via email with a potential seed investor (PSI) about the prototype. Fortunately, they appear to be attentive to what is possible. Much to my surprise I got an ask for my business plan.

I am not sure who said it…”if you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” True statement. Even if you don’t know all the details a guide is better than not having one. This will help to navigate your thoughts and actions. Plans help to add structure to our ideas. The effort put into it is a sign of your commitment to the project. I look forward to hearing back from the PSI.

I hope to be able to share more exciting news as it relates to the development of my app.

Even if my plan is rejected, I made the attempt. This is what counts right?

Kicking Off The Campaign

Today is the day that I kick off my campaign to raise the necessary funds to build my app.

Earlier this year I participated in a business competition where I pitched my idea about a web-based/mobile app. My idea was not selected to place nor did I win. However, my desire to build and launch an app remains. My blog is one of the platforms I am using to get the word out about the app.

Exactly what will the app do? Motivate and inspire people to turn their frustrations into assets. This app will be one of the largest pick-me-up-when-I’m-down tools you have ever seen. Yep, and it will be all right in your pocket. So buy a square today and let’s help change lives.

The Start Of Something

Recently, I have shared posts about launching something. I even talked about my response to doing something spectacular. Two days I shared how I was going to pitch again.

Well, now it’s time for me to move forward with one of my goals. Over the next month I Will have some thing to show for it.

Last night I attended a Hackathon at CoWork Jax. There were probably a dozen of us talking about ideas that we wanted to see develop into an app. I could not stay for the entire event, but I did start a few engaging conversations about web development projects.

I will write more later. I am two days away from leaving the country. So I have to go pack. 🙂
