The Proces To Done

I hope you are enjoying my pivotal blog series. I am enjoying the process. It is the process of discovery. It is a process of creativity. Also, it’s a process of faith.

This process has taken me towards the next steps with the building I wrote about yesterday. The building has potential to be an asset to the community, as opposed to simply occupying space with no value. The possibilities are endless…in my opinion.

Soon I hope to talk with the buildings’ owners or someone responsible for its upkeep. It’s time to get moving toward materialization of entrepreneurship. I don’t want to be one of those people that are always talking about “what I’m gonna do.” I want to talk about what I have done. Don’t you?

What’s the point of having empty dreams and goals? None, if you ask me. We were created to create.

Well, this process entails developing a team and strategic partnerships. Obtaining the necessary data to validate a cause. Even raising the capital to support this cause! Oh and celebrating the sweetness of accomplishing one many endeavors.

The journey continues..

Jacksonville: 5821

My recent posts (about community, calling, and responding) and dreams have led me on a journey that I don’t have adequate words to express. Today, I took a few pics of a location here in Jacksonville at 5821 _____________. I want to do something with this location. Yes, I want to say what right now, but I am not totally certain. For now just take a look below and dream with me about the possibilities.

No man is an island. Not sure who coined this phrase, but it is the truth. We were not created to exist alone. We were not created to live in a vacuum where ideas are not exchanged. I think this a bit more easy for some to grasp than others. Unfortunately, the scars from past relationships and failed friendships leave many with an invisible fence. Sometimes the gaps in our development is because of an unhealthy process of relationship growth.

One of the lessons learned from my first two books read this year is an undeniable need for healthy relationships. These become the source of strength from which we draw the courage to hold and on continue to push forward. Think about it for a moment, we have what we have (good or bad) only with the involvement of someone else. Our clothes, food, vehicles, thoughts conceived, etc- because of someone else. It is foolish to think we can survive on our own. It is not possible. Continue Reading…

Responding

Two days I wrote the importance of response. Well, today here is my answer how I am responding. I am looking forward to the entrepreneurship class at my church and growing through the process. It is my goal to be more of a producer, than consumer.

First Two Books Read In 2012

The first two months of 2012 were very rewarding because I made a deliberate effort to read a non-fiction book each month. Wise choice!

Reading helps you to grow and it gives you something to talk about other than the average.

What books have you read or are reading this year?
