Thoughts On Building A Team

Make the most of your time here on earth by leaving a mark that can’t be erased. I’ve reached out to a few people about the Rockethub effort. The conversations have been small, but very encouraging.

Most of it has been pitching the idea to folks. Building a community around The Grind & The Glory is essential. A Lone Ranger mentality will only get me so far.

The team is going to win.

My hope is by the weekend I will have my creative project published on the launchpad opportunity page.

More updates to come.

Creative Project Update

Moving forward is always one of the most difficult things to do. It is up to us to make a difference in the lives of others. Our creative projects need us to be the leader we are supposed to be and make a difference in the world.

I am excited about The Grind and The Glory. It about the down and the up. The dirt and the good.

The need for a paradigm shift is here. I’ve read the requirements and watched the video several times to gain a clearer understanding of the contest.

Over the next few days I will share more insight into how the project is going .

One Step Closer

Yesterday, I mentioned the “Be Almost Famous” competition that Rockethub is hosting. Well, I’m getting close to saying I’m in it to win it. Here is a sneak peek…..

A Unique Opportunity

Just a few days ago I learned of an exciting opportunity in the crowd funding sphere. Except this one is more of crowd friend-raising rather than just the money.

The team at have an exciting competition to help launch someone’s song, art, video, book, invention, business, etc. The video below does more justice than my one sentence above.

Check it out. Press play now.

Oh how I so badly want to make a difference in Jacksonville. This is not my hometown, but it’s where my family is for now. Talk is cheap. Making a difference costs. Costs what? Time, Resources, even the opinion of others about you and your motives. The latter I could care less about. The first two….this is the meat to chew on (I am not a vegetarian.).

Putting my time and energy into vision casting a creative project with the hopes of getting some really nice attention is key.

I know I can do this with your help. I am going to need your help to spread the word within your channels. This will be fun, and all for a good cause.

They have titled the launch pad opportunity “Be Almost Famous.” I really don’t like to think of myself as trying to be famous I just want to help people.

I heard someone say “Opportunity doesn’t knock, it just stands there and waits to be recognized.” This indeed is a unique opportunity to do something special. I recognize it as that. I hope my works in the upcoming days speak to how I feel about this opportunity.

27 Things We Should Not Do

I have hit a writer’s block tonight. It’s not intentional. I have a post to publish, but I don’t have all the details. It wouldn’t make sense to half effort the entry. I have been thinking about a few things. Life principles. I thought I would share them with you. This is not a complete list. Just a brief look at stuff I’ve always tried to keep in mind.

Here we go:

  1. ┬áDon’t put off what you know is right for you to do.
  2. Don’t put off or try to pretend that you want your life to count for more than what is happening now.
  3. Don’t forsake the relationships that matter most. Continue Reading →
