He Is With You

I posted this song last year. I’m doing it again this year! Why? Because it reminds me that despite all that’s going on in the world, GOD is with me. Listen and be inspired!

Day 59 Good Everyday Minnesota

The focus is on another mentoring organization today in Minnesota. You have to visit and see the amazing work taking place by The Bridge for Youth.

According to their site:

The Bridge for Youth serves over a thousand youth and their families each year, offering a full continuum of services from hotline and emergency services to longer term housing, with life skills and career development. Our services are available free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The most effective way to prevent youth homelessness is to reunify youth and their families and help them develop the skills to work through conflicts before they reach the breaking point. The Bridge for Youth staff offers individual and family counseling to help support families.

Day 36 Good Everyday Clara White Mission

CWM Feeds The Hungry Weekly

With the tour kicking off tomorrow, I thought it best to keep it local. One of the most amazing organizations that you’ve never heard of is where the $1 went today. The Clara White Mission here in Jacksonville is doing amazing work.

It was founded by a former slave whose compassion for her fellow people moved her to action. It has been in existence for more than 100 years, dedicated to serving the needs of the least fortunate in our community. It is the Clara White Mission, and after more than a century of service, we remain devoted to the humanitarian goals pursued so selflessly by our founder.

The Clara White Mission offers more than meals for the hungry and shelter for the homeless. We offer hope and a way out of the misery of a life on the streets. Yes, we provide food and shelter, but we also offer vocational programs to put people to work. Our goal is to restore those in need to meaningful, dignified lives in the community.
